There are plenty of fantastic ways to celebrate New Years in Tahoe. From torchlight parade and fireworks, to family celebrations and big parties, there's a bit of something for everyone.
Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows will host a huge lineup of events starting with a Family Celebration with all kinds of activities including kids' games and a kids' disco, followed by a glowstick parade and fireworks. Then, adults can stay out and party at the famed Squaw Valley Prom.
Northstar California will host their Fire & Ice Celebration with afternoon kids activities and then The Who Show cover band, fireworks, and a party.
Mount Rose Ski Tahoe will host a torchlight parade and fireworks display. 4:30-9:30pm
Homewood Mountain Resort will host a Last Run Champagne Toast and then a New Years Eve dinner at the West Shore Cafe with a family friendly seating at 5:30pm and an adult seating with live music at 8:30pm. RSVPs are required.
Tahoe Donner will host a light parade with fireworks as well as a moonlight guided snowshoe tour. Drop the kids for the New Years Kids Night Out and head over to celebrate with dinner and a champagne toast at The Lodge.
Most restaurants will host special dinners. Remember, reservations are required.
