In examining single-family lakefront homes between Incline Village and Rubicon Bay, we are currently seeing the inventory of active listings at the lowest we have seen in years.
On the California side of North Lake Tahoe, there are currently six active listings for single-family lakefront homes. However of these six homes, three sit back from the lake, leaving a total of three proper Tahoe lakefronts on the California side. The three remaining are: $1.9M Meeks Bay home, a $25M Tahoe City west shore home, and a $29.5M Tahoe City west shore home.
On the Nevada side, in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, we are seeing six active listings for single-family lakefront homes. However one of these homes only has access to lakefront amenities, making a total of five proper lakefront listings. Of the five, three homes are on Gonowabie Road and are listed for $5.95M, $9.98M, and $39.75M. The other two homes are a Lakeshore Boulevard home listed at $10.98M and Crystal Pointe listed for $75M.
There are a total of eight lakefront single-family homes between Incline Village, NV to Rubicon Bay, CA actively listed on the market, with four of these eight listed at or above $25M.
Therefore, if you are actively seeking a lakefront home on Lake Tahoe, you should be prepared and ready to take immediate action when you see a listing come on. If you have a lakefront home on Lake Tahoe that you are considering selling, now is the time to list your home.
