The Made in Tahoe Festival takes place at the Village at Squaw Valley this weekend celebrating all things local with artisans, culinarians, organizations, and entertainers. Think art festival with great food and rocking local music over two days. The village will again come to life. Make it a full day with a ride to the top of the mountain on the aerial tram, which opens this weekend. Enjoy a 2,000' leisurely ride to the top of high camp. The 23rd Annual Truckee Home & Building Show takes place Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm at the Truckee High School, showcasing everything you need to build, remodel, landscape, and decorate your mountain home.. For those who like to be productive on holiday weekends! Stay nearby.
Ever growing in popularity, Stand Up Paddleboarding continues to win loyalists as a way to enjoy being out on the water. And with it, comes more and more events celebrating the sport. The TAHOE CUP Paddle Racing Series offers both the recreational Paddler and the race enthusiast an opportunity to participate in SUP, prone paddleboard or OC1 class races.
