July 3rd
Fireworks at Kings Beach. A beach party begins at 4pm. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30pm. Truckee Thursdays. Weekly street fair with artisans, live music, a farmer's market, beer garden, and kids' entertainment. 5pm-9pm. Free Outdoor Movie at the Village at Squaw Valley. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire starts at 8:30pm.
July 4th
Truckee Parade. 10am. This is a traditional hometown parade that draws the town out! The parade starts at the west end of Donner Pass Road and goes through historic downtown Truckee. Tahoe City Street Fair. From the Boatworks Mall to the Cobblestone Center to Gatekeeper's Museum and all points in between, Tahoe City offers visitors and residents a summer day like no other. Tahoe City's July Fourth Fun Zone, located in Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co.'s parking lot at 315 North Lake Boulevard, will included a dunk tank, bean bag toss, putting green and additional games. Penney the Clown will be on site, face painting and there will be live music performed by Kip Yager from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tahoe City Fireworks. Begin at dark. Incline Village Fireworks. Begin at dark. Wine and Dine in the Grove. 5pm-7:30pm in Aspen Grove, Incline Village. Savor extraordinary hors d’oeuvres presented by Chef Chris Daniel of the Big Water Grille, paired with award-winning wines from across the world and complemented with live classical music. It’s an extra special night, with all the extra special touches that you deserve. This is an adult 21+ only event. Reno Philharmonic. 8pm-10pm. Watch the fireworks set to a live performance by the Reno Philharmonic, presenting a spectacular salute to the 200th Anniversary of The Star-Spangled Banner. Then the show concludes with a synchronized outdoor show to one of the Nation’s top fireworks displays. Get your tickets online through July 4th at 3pm. Tickets also available at the door.
