Well, yes, it finally rained a few drops over Lake Tahoe this past Sunday. Although we all love the sunshine the rain is welcomed every now and then due to the lack of it! There is no more rain in the forecast-the next week is sunny and clear with highs in the low 80s, typical Tahoe summer weather. There is some great music headed to Lake Tahoe this week.
Thursday night, July 24th - Check out Zepparella (all women Led Zeppelin cover band) at the River Ranch Lodge. Based out of San Francisco, these ladies rock it out Zeppelin style. If you are at all a Led Zeppelin fan, I highly recommend you check them out. Also the River Ranch is one of my favorite places to see music. The bands set up at the edge of the stone patio overlooking the Truckee River. Show starts at 9:30pm and the doors open at 8:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online at renegadeshows.com or in person at the River Ranch and New Moon Natural Foods.
Saturday, July 26th - Truckee Reggae Festival at the Truckee River Park Ampitheater. Featuring Pato Banton, Prezident Brown, Del Castillo and Salvador Santana. Show starts at 4:30pm, doors open at 4pm. All ages are welcome. The Truckee Ampitheater is another great venue to see shows. A large, tiered grass lot allows great viewing from every spot. Tickets can be purchased online at renegadeshows.com or at the gates of the park.
Sunday, July 27th - FREE music at Commons Beach, 4-7pm. This week features Norton Buffalo and the Knockouts.
