We all love winter in Tahoe, in fact winter is why the majority of the people who moved here made the jump. However, we all soon learned a little secret; summer in Tahoe is as incredible (some would say even more incredible) than winter. Perfect weather, beaches, watersports, golf, hiking, mountain biking - the activities are endless. In fact, there are so many options that it can sometimes be hard to figure out what exactly to do on a given day. Play a round of golf at one of the dozen or so courses in the area, or go for a scenic mountain bike ride on the Rim Trail? Float the Truckee river from Tahoe City to the River Ranch, or go stand-up paddleboarding on Lake Tahoe? Take a cruise on a boat, or just plop a chair down on the beach and relax? We'll leave those difficult decisions to you, but we did pull together a list of activities and events that will help you make the most of your time in Tahoe this summer.
