With over 30 years of experience in the Lake Tahoe market, we are passionate about sharing the lifestyle and beauty of the area with our clients and guests. We are seeking a talented Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and elevate our brand across both our real estate and vacation rental divisions.


Position Summary:

The Marketing Director will oversee all marketing initiatives for our real estate sales and vacation rental divisions. This role is responsible for brand management, lead generation, content creation, digital marketing, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in both real estate and hospitality marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to grow both the real estate and vacation rental divisions.
  • Maintain brand voice, messaging, and design consistency across platforms.
  • Work with leadership to define target audiences and refine positioning for both business segments.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Manage social media strategy, content, and engagement across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Oversee paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) to drive leads, bookings, and listings.
  • Optimize websites for SEO, lead capture, and conversion.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and ROI.

Content Creation & Communications

  • Produce engaging copy, blogs, email newsletters, listing descriptions, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with photographers/videographers to create visual content showcasing homes, lifestyle, and experiences.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns for guest retention, property promotions, and real estate newsletters.

Partnerships & PR

  • Build relationships with local businesses, tourism boards, and media to enhance exposure.
  • Identify and execute strategic collaborations and influencer partnerships.

Events

  • Plan and execute event presence including sponsored events, broker tours, and custom events to promote real estate listings and vacation rentals.

Collateral

  • Design and manage production of print and digital marketing collateral, including listing brochures, property one-sheets, rack cards, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistent brand aesthetics and messaging across all materials.
  • Collaborate with photographers, designers, and printers to maintain high-quality output.

Real Estate Marketing

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for real estate listings, from pre-listing to post-sale.
  • Create compelling listing presentations, flyers, postcards, and digital ads for properties.
  • Craft personalized letters to accompany direct mail pieces and listing presentations.

 


Qualifications:

  • Candidates must live locally and be available to work in our Tahoe City office.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or luxury markets.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Data-driven with the ability to track and measure success.
  • Self-starter with excellent project management and organizational skills.
